Tethered is my original story, currently in development and yet to be released. The concept was first created in 2016, and later presented & pitched as an assignment in college. A teaser was published on Webtoon CANVAS in 2019 and development of a webtoon started, but unfortunately, due to data loss, was put on a hiatus. Tethered is presently being revisited and developed so that this baby can finally be revealed to the world.

Synopsis: After entering into a contract with a Shitenshi (死天使: Death Angel), two interns are bound together by a chain of souls until they complete their task. Can they succeed, or will they remain tethered forever?

The story features a multicultural cast and is set primarily in Japan, with parts of the story also taking place in the Caribbean and the United States. The characters grapple with heavy themes of trauma, death and soul ties while trying to balance the challenges of their everyday lives in the industry.

HIKO is a character who will be featured in Tethered.

Below are old concept sketches and doodles of some of the key characters in the story.
